THE QUAINT AND ENCHANTED, GREEK ISLANDS

The island of Sifnos oozes character and atmosphere, with a handful of beautiful beaches lined with tavernas and the charming little plaka on the top of the mountain, it was our first visit to this quaint island and we couldn't help but fall in love with it.

The locals were some of the friendliest people we have come across in the cyclades. If you're one to appreciate art and pottery, then this island is a must. Getting lost in the gorgeous pottery shops was a dream, each artist having their own unique style. The colours of the ceramics captivated me, with many shades of blue reflecting the colours of the aegean sea. I couldn't walk past a shop without feeling the urge to purchase a unique, beautifuly glazed ceramic piece to take home with me.

We stayed near the main port of Kamares, visited Vathi and Platis Gialos beaches where stand up paddle boarding is widely available. We drove along the winding, scenic roads to each destination by motorbike - pure bliss!
